Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2025
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Denver Floor Coating website and any services provided by Denver Floor Coating. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
Website Use
This website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate estimate requests. You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use this website to transmit spam, malicious code, or any content that is unlawful, harmful, or offensive.
Estimate Requests and Quotes
Submitting an estimate request form or calling for an estimate does not create a contractual obligation on either party. A binding agreement for services is created only when a written quote is accepted and a signed installation agreement is in place. Quotes are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.
Installation Services
Floor coating installation services are governed by the written installation agreement provided at the time of scheduling. Key terms of installation agreements include:
- Scope: The work described in the written quote. Changes to scope requested after scheduling may require a revised quote and rescheduling.
- Customer Preparation: Customer is responsible for clearing the garage of all vehicles, stored items, and floor-level belongings before the installation crew arrives. Failure to clear the space may result in rescheduling.
- Access: Customer must provide safe access to the installation area and electrical power for equipment operation.
- Concrete Conditions: The quote is based on concrete conditions observed at the estimate visit. Conditions discovered during installation that were not visible at the estimate visit (concealed prior coatings, subsurface contamination, structural issues) may require a scope adjustment discussed and agreed to before proceeding.
Warranty
Warranty terms are specified in the written installation agreement and the warranty documentation provided at job completion. In general, our residential floor coating installations carry a ten-year transferable warranty covering peeling, delamination, and hot-tire bond failure. The warranty does not cover mechanical damage from impacts, damage from chemical exposure beyond normal garage use, or conditions arising from customer-caused damage. Full warranty terms are provided in writing at installation completion. In no event shall Denver Floor Coating's liability under warranty or otherwise exceed the amount paid for the specific installation giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to personal injury claims.
Limitation of Liability
Denver Floor Coating's liability for any claim arising from website use or services provided is limited to direct damages not exceeding the amount paid for the specific service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Denver Floor Coating or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use website content without written permission.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes arising from these terms or from services provided shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Colorado.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of this website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
